This Privacy Policy explains how NudgePay Technologies LLP ("NudgePay", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal information of users ("Service Providers") and their clients ("Clients") when using the NudgePay platform ("Platform"). By signing up or using NudgePay, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. From Service Providers (you):
Name, mobile number, and email address
Business name, GST details (if provided), and service description
Payment details (UPI ID, bank account number)
Invoice details, due amounts, and reminder preferences
Client names, WhatsApp or mobile numbers
B. From Clients (your customers):
Only the data you upload (name and WhatsApp/mobile number)
No financial details or KYC information is collected from clients
2. How We Use This Information
Enable creation and sending of invoices and reminders via WhatsApp, SMS, or email
Display payment statuses, collection summaries, and dashboard insights
Process subscription payments and billing
Provide customer support and resolve inquiries
Send important service updates and notifications
Improve our product through aggregated, anonymized analytics
Note: NudgePay does not process or hold any payments. All payments go directly from your clients to your UPI or bank account.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or your clients' data with third parties, except:
WhatsApp Business API providers to deliver transactional messages
Supabase (database hosting & auth), email service providers, and payment processors for subscription billing
When legally required by law enforcement or regulators
In the event of a merger or acquisition, under strict confidentiality
4. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secure servers in India or compliant international regions
Access is protected by passwords, encryption, firewalls, and monitoring
We do not store sensitive authentication data (e.g., UPI PINs)
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for site functionality and to improve user experience
No tracking cookies are used for advertising purposes
You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may be affected
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and client data as long as your NudgePay account remains active
Upon account deletion, all personal and client data is permanently removed within 30 days, unless required by law
7. Your Rights
You may at any time:
View, update, or correct your profile and business information
Delete client data you have uploaded
Request complete deletion of your account and data by emailing connect@nudgepay.in
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Third-Party Links
The Platform may link to third-party services (e.g., UPI apps). We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
